As you learn more about Frankoma pottery, you'll want additional sources of information. Frankoma is greatly prized by its collectors not only for its native beauty, but for its ruggedness. Almost every week, we have visitors to the factory tell us about their grandmother's dishes that are till in daily use. Not surprisingly, it is one of eBay's most frequently traded collectible products according to Martha Stewart.

Collectors may wish to have other sources of information about Frankoma Pottery or wish to locate replacement pieces or add to their collection. May we suggest:

Frankoma Family Collector's Association (FFCA). FFCA's web site offers values for many older pieces as well as a trading section. Extensive section on identifying your Frankoma pieces.

Frankomaland. The second of the major Frankoma collector's groups. Information on Frankoma's history as well as a wide variety of pieces for sale.

Frankoma Pottery Discussion Board. This board (by Texas Cooking Communities) offers a chance to discuss various pottery questions with the experts. Great place to learn more about Frankoma Pottery. And they assure us that there's no such thing as a dumb question on this site.

Madrushn's Frankoma Pottery Collector's Page. This page is a treasure trove of information for Frankoma collectors. Includes information on discontinued glazes and other reference info.

Frankoma Collector Page. This collector is attempting to find every Frankoma salt and pepper shaker ever produced in every color. A very impressive effort.

Art Pottery Manufacturers. While not dedicated to Frankoma pottery, this pages lists most of the remaining U.S. manufacturers of art pottery and may be of some interest to collectors.

John Frank House. The Frank sisters (Donna and Joniece) offer tours of the Frank family home where you can see unique architecture designed around the clever use of Frankoma tiles. The house includes some beautiful Frankoma pieces, and, of course, it is always a pleasure to talk with Donna and Joniece. Call them at 918-224-6566 or email joniece@aol.com with the subject line 'tours'. Well worth the modest price of admission and time spent.

eBay. Still a great place to buy or sell Frankoma items. Typically somewhere around 1,000 pieces for sale at any time - and there are new ones listed every day.

There are a number of books on Frankoma pottery - several of them found on this site. Several others are out of print and no longer available.

If you have any other resources for information on Frankoma Pottery, please let us know.
